    Description

    Bush's No. 3 antique spring loaded door chain top bolt in cast iron from the 1860's.  Bush's 3 on front in raised lettering & Bush's No. 3 imprinted on the back.
    Bolt measures
    6" hi
    gh x 1 7/8"
    at widest hole mounts x 3/4" thick.  Attached chain is about 26" - missing ring at bottom.  Missing top receiver.  This bolt works well and still has a strong spring,  No damage or cracks - shows aged patina dark gray in color with some light rust in crevices of decoration.  Cast decoration both top and bottom.  Signed American 1860's chain bolt for collecting or use.
