VINTAGE R & E RIM LOCK w/KEY & KEEPER: CLEANED RECONDITIONED - NICE  (10665-6)
Vintage, made by RUSSELL & ERWIN (R & E), aka RUSSWIN, one of the premier lock makers of the second half of the 19th Century, key works just fine, comes with the keeper, very well made, all the old paint was removed by sandblasting and the box and keeper were clear coated with lacquer.  Use it like this with the industrial look or spray paint it any color you wish.
The box measures 5" wide and 3 5/8" high.  Keeper is exactty the same height.  Set back from the edge of the rim lock to the center of the knob post hole is 3 7/8".
Key works fine, safety lock works fine.
Both the knob escutcheon and key hole escutcheon are included.
